Requirements
CommView 6.3 (You can get a trial version, if you can’t afford it)
aircrack-ng-1.1-win (Folder)
Any Network Adapter
Instructions
The first thing to do is to download and install CommView 6.3 . To download it, Click here.
When CommView for WiFi 6.3 is installed, open it and go to File->Start Capture or press and hold CTRL + S. And, it will look like this (Just to be sure if you were in the right track).
Now, press “Start Scanning” and wait for a while. You will suddenly see some WiFi’s name in the list. Choose any WiFi you wish to hack and click “Capture”.
You should wait until you get around 1,500,000-2,000,000 packets. So, you need to be patient.
When that’s done, click (which is located at the upper-left area). Go to File->Save Packet Log As or either CTRL + P and save it in C:\Users\Name\Documents\CommView for WiFi\LOGS
You will now need to go to the LOGS folder (C:\Users\Name\Documents\CommView for WiFi\LOGS) and click on your Packet Log file(yourfilepackname.ncf) which you saved earlier.
It will automatically open a new window like this one. Go to File->Export Logs->Wireshark/Tcpdump Format… to save it as a .CAP file . Save it at the same folder (LOGS).
We are half way there!
OK, now for the easy part.
Open aircrack-ng-1.1-win folder (If you don’t have it, Click here to download it) and click bin->Aircrack-ng GUI . This will appear.
If everything looks good so far, click “Choose…” (located at the upper-right area of the program) and choose your Packet File (.CAP) and click “Launch” (located at the bottom-right).
A new window will pop up and will search the security key. It may think a few minutes. If it failed, it means your file has not enough packets to find the security key. If it succeed, it will look like this “3E:7P:8M:1E:3K:1J”. Just put it together. So, the security password of my neighborhood’s WiFi will be 3E7P8M1E3K1J. (Security keys may vary, it can be longer like this: 304jf93ks93laj3k9fj3…)
